Meet Michael Miranda
President, GuardPro Property Restoration
Michael Miranda brings a background most restoration owners simply don’t have. He’s a former financial advisor, licensed public adjuster, and property damage specialist who has navigated five major hurricanes and every type of property loss across Florida.
His Path to GuardPro
- Michael graduated from the University of Florida with a Finance degree and began his career at Citigroup, working with high-net-worth clients internationally. That experience sharpened his ability to manage high-stakes situations and advocate for clients under pressure.
- After transitioning into real estate investing, he encountered property damage firsthand. What started as a personal challenge became a calling. In 2016, he committed full-time to public adjusting, representing Florida property owners through five hurricanes and every major damage category: water, fire, mold, vandalism, and more.
- Working closely with restoration companies, he saw exactly where the industry fell short. In 2026, he built GuardPro to fill that gap.
On a Personal Note
Michael has been married to his wife Jeymi for over 20 years. They have two sons, Joseph and Jayci, both studying computer science and engineering. Outside of work, he enjoys time
with his four dogs and is an avid golfer.
